What is the "We Will" Virtual Walk MS?
"We Will" Walk MS is an option for those who reside outside of the area of a currently scheduled Walk MS event. This allows everyone to get involved in Walk MS, no matter where they live!

All "We Will" virtual walkers are eligible for the same benefits as all other walkers! You will receive the Walk MS 2010 Walker Handbook with information on Walk MS, tips to help you start fundraising, etc. You also have access to your Participant Center, where you can customize your own personal Walk MS web page, send out e-mails to your supporters, track your fundraising, and more!
"We Will" virtual walkers are also eligible for prizes, Fantastsic 50, and other walker recognition programs! There are additional fundraising tips and tricks posted on our website to help you fundraise.
How do I register?
You can register online by following this link, then clicking on the "We Will" Virtual Walk link in the Walk MS event list and following the prompts. If you have participated in Walk MS in the past, make sure you login with your username and password first. Click here to retrieve your username and password. New walkers, you will create your account as you go.
Once registered, you will be able to access your Participant Center, customize your Personal Page, and send out e-mails to your supporters. On your Personal Page, you may want to announce when and where you will be walking in your community so others can come out to join you.
If you are walking with a group, this is the perfect opportunity to start a Walk MS team. This can really bring more attention to your efforts, as well as encourage others in your community to Join the Movement! |
